The SF® series chilled cast iron pumps impress with their very high wear resistance, e.g. as sand trap pumps in municipal sewage treatment works or as process water pumps in the industry. The pump casing and the pump impeller are fabricated from the special material NIHARD4. This material is extremely abrasion resistant and insensitive to impact stresses.
